MCF acted as exclusive Debt Advisor to Triton on the refinancing of bluu unit GmbH
bluu unit GmbH (“bluu unit”), a portfolio company of funds advised by Triton and leading German HAVCR alliance offering environmentally friendly commercial scale refrigeration systems, climate technologies and heat pumps, has successfully refinanced its existing liabilities and secured additional acquisition facilities to support its impressive buy-and-build strategy. In this transaction, MCF advised Triton and bluu unit on the successful arrangement and structuring of the refinancing, revolving and acquisition facilities.
The Deal
Since the acquisition of bluu unit by Triton in 2022, bluu unit has grown to the leading HAVCR alliance in Germany on the back of an impressive buy-and-build track record, having successfully closed 6 add-on acquisitions in the last two years. The newly implemented financing structure enables the alliance a superior operative flexibility while providing significant resources that will support and facilitate the inorganic growth of the alliance going forward.
