AK AUFZÜGE is a leading regional provider of elevator services, including new installation & replacement, service & maintenance and modernisation to its clients in the Southwest of Germany. MCF acted as adviser to the owner and facilitated the transaction through its strong track record and proven expertise in the elevator & escalator service market.
The Deal
With Orona as a new partner, our client found a management successor for AK Aufzüge. Additionally, this transaction marks a significant expansion of geographic reach for the buyer, expanding into the German market. AK Aufzüge will complement Orona’s service portfolio with a new installation and modernisation offering. Orona produces c. 30,000 elevators per annum and has an installed portfolio of c. 300,000 lifts under management.
