MCF advised Meconet on the acquisition of Relicomp
Meconet, a family-owned manufacturer of demanding sheet metal components, has acquired Relicomp, a family-owned company, particularly known in the industry as a sheet metal manufacturer and a frontrunner in deep drawing technology. This acquisition will expand Meconet’s offering in powder coating, medium-sized sheet metal work series, and component assembly.
In this transaction, MCF advised Meconet and helped facilitate the deal through its proven ability to successfully execute strategic buy-side transactions.
The Deal
This transaction is very significant for Meconet, as it expands the offering in powder coating, medium-sized sheet metal work series, and component assembly, as well as lays the foundation for product and technology leadership in deep drawing products. With this acquisition, Meconet will grow to a new size, which in return will create an even stronger foundation for potential international expansion.
Relicomp will continue as a separate company and the company’s brand and location will remain unchanged. Relicomp’s production facility in Kurikka further strengthens the group’s delivery capacity. For Relicomp, this transaction opens new opportunities such as new markets and customers for the products and services.
