MCF advised Quantify Research on the sale to Athagoras
Quantify Research (“Quantify”), the market-leading Health economics and outcomes research specialist in the Nordics has entered into an agreement to sell the company to Athagoras, a newly established portfolio company of Munich-based Green Peak Partners, which aims to build a tech-enabled platform of companies within pharmaceutical consulting.
In this transaction, MCF advised Quantify in organising a structured sell-side process to find the right partner for jointly developing the business in its next growth stage.
“We were initially contemplating going through this entire process on our own with just legal advisors but having you guys from MCF support us has been one of the best business decisions we’ve taken. You’ve provided great support throughout and helped us sign a deal we didn’t think was possible half a year ago.”
The Deal
Athagoras was established by Green Peak Partners in 2024 through the acquisition of two companies: one specialising in medical affairs consulting and a technology provider positioned to drive growth as an enabler for future group companies. Athagoras aims to become a data-driven European leader in pharmaceutical consulting by strategically acquiring complementary businesses across key phases of the drug lifecycle.
After a period of strong growth for Quantify, the company recognised the need to find a partner which could further accelerate its international expansion. Athagoras was chosen as the partner for this journey due to its complementary offering and exciting vision which also aligns with that of Quantify.
