The Deal
Ragn-Sells is a privately held corporate group with operations in Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Denmark. MCF has previously acted as financial adviser to Ragn-Sells during the divestment of its Latvian operations earlier in 2018, as well as in the divestment of RSM&CO to Ramboll.
The divestment of the Polish operations is in line with Ragn-Sells’ corporate strategy to refocus along the broader trend towards sustainable circular economies that preserve scarce raw materials and natural resources. Ragn-Sells will now consolidate and focus the development of its three main business areas – Recycling, Treatment & Detoxification and New Value Chain.
The Target
Ragn-Sells’ Polish operations includes Ragn-Sells Polska (RSP) and its subsidiary Ragn-Sells Technology (RST), a joint venture with BEWI Drift Holding AS. Ragn-Sells Polska is headquartered in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland.
