MCF supports Axel Johnson International on the acquisition of TMT. Malinen
MCF advised Axel Johnson International on the acquisition of TMT. Malinen Oy, the region’s market leading manufacturer and distributor of aluminium, steel, and plastics components as well as systems for the body builder industry. The success of the transaction was facilitated by MCF establishing the relationship and conducting the dialogue with the Malinen family.
We found MCF’s service invaluable throughout the entire process. In particular, we valued the cultural/language driven support particularly at tricky intervals of the M&A process which MCF is able to provide through their presence in both the Swedish and the Finnish market.”
The Deal
As a result of this transaction, Axel Johnson International’s Transport Solutions business group is strengthening its position in the Nordic market for commercial vehicle components. “Our ambition is to grow our presence in the transport market throughout Europe, and we look forward to doing that together with the TMT. Malinen team,” says Erik Eklöv, Managing Director of Transport Solutions. “TMT. Malinen offers a great complement to our existing vehicle components business and is a well-managed company that will fit well into our organisation.”
The Target
With EUR 13 million in sales, TMT. Malinen is the region’s market leading manufacturer and distributor of aluminium, steel, and plastics components and systems for the body builder industry.
