MCF advised Jordanes on the sale of Lindvalls Chark to Scan Sverige, a business area of Lantmännen
MCF advised Jordanes, a Scandinavian brand house, on the sale of Lindvalls Chark, Sweden’s premier sausage producer for the convenience market. Lindvalls Chark is to be acquired by Sweden’s leading meat and smallgoods company, Scan Sverige, which has been a business area of Lantmännen since 2024.

”Throughout the entire sale process of Lindvalls Chark to Scan Sverige, we benefited greatly from the strategic guidance and expertise provided by MCF. Their commitment and thorough approach played a key role in achieving a successful transaction.”
Lindvalls Chark, founded in 1925, is the number one producer of sausages for the Swedish convenience store market. Recognised as a classic brand, Lindvalls Chark serves as a long-term partner to retailers looking to develop their convenience food offerings. The Company also has a growing presence in the Swedish grocery retail market. Lindvalls Chark produces approximately 8,000 tons of sausages each year at its Strömsnäsbruk production facility, equivalent to 10 sausages for every inhabitant of Sweden each year.
Scan Sverige’s acquisition of Lindvalls Chark broadens its offering to the convenience segment and strengthens its position as Sweden’s leading meat and smallgoods company. Lindvalls Chark will remain a distinct operational entity, focused on providing flexible support to its customers and producing its award-winning products in Strömsnäsbruk. The transaction is also in line with Lantmännen and Scan Sverige’s objectives to lead the development of Swedish food production across the value chain and to increase sustainable Swedish meat production.
