Rita Lei

Rita Lei joined MCF in 2023 as Partner and Head of Technology. She has been advising tech companies across Europe and the US on M&A and private capital transactions since 2012.

Prior to joining MCF, Rita was Managing Director at Torch Partners. For over a decade, she has advised clients across various subsectors, including marketplaces and classifieds, travel tech, education tech, human capital management, digital and customer experience software, as well as e-commerce enablement software.

Throughout her career, Rita has advised on numerous high-profile tech transactions involving leading European technology companies, including Zoovu, Lodgify, GoHenry, Bizay, nu3, DaWanda, Emagister, Clustree, Clavis Insight, Teamwork, Friendscout24, Zoopla Property Group, Secret Escapes, and Everli.

She brings deep sector expertise across Application Software and Internet & Digital Media. Leveraging her strong global network of investors and strategic buyers across the US, Europe, and Asia, Rita is key in driving cross-border transactions and delivering long-term value for technology clients throughout the UK and Europe.

Rita holds a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the Sainsbury Laboratory.
